IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have been notified by the General Register Office of the following changes to statutory fees with effect from 28 May 2024:

Birth, Death, Marriage and Civil Partnership Certificates

• The fee for all certificates increases to £12.50 from 28 May 2024; this includes the first birth certificate.

For Marriage

• Consideration by Superintendent Registrar of a divorce obtained outside of the British Isles £55.00
• Consideration by the Registrar General of a divorce obtained outside of the British Isles £83.00

For Civil Partnersip

• Consideration by the registration authority of a civil partnership dissolution obtained outside of the British Isles £55.00
• Consideration by the Registrar General of a civil partnersip dissolution obtained outside of the Bristish Isles £83.00

Fees for Changes to Initial Registration

• Change to the forname added within 12 months of birth registration £44.00
• Consideration by Registrar / Superintendent Registrar of a correction £83.00
• Consideration by Registrar General of a correction £99.00
